SS Rajamouli Unveils Don’t Trouble The Trouble Trailer, Promises a Fun Magical Ride in Theatres

SS Rajamouli has given fans another reason to look forward to October with the trailer launch of Don’t Trouble The Trouble. The filmmaker took to social media to share the trailer of the upcoming fantasy comedy and described the film as a warm, fun and lively entertainer. Sharing the video, Rajamouli wrote, “More of Suri… More of Divya…. More of their lives. Here’s the trailer of Don’t Trouble The Trouble. This team has put together something very warm, fun and full of life 🙂 Hope they cast their spell on u too. See you all at the cinemas on October 2nd.”

The film revolves around Suri, played by Fahadh Faasil, a fake magician whose carefully crafted act gets complicated when he crosses paths with Divya, portrayed by Ssara Palekar, a young girl who actually possesses supernatural powers. The trailer promises a quirky mix of comedy, magic and chaos, with the contrast between Suri’s pretend tricks and Divya’s real abilities setting up plenty of entertaining situations. Rajamouli’s enthusiastic endorsement has added another layer of curiosity around the film.

Directed by Shashank Yeleti, Don’t Trouble The Trouble combines fantasy and comedy against a small-town backdrop. The film’s music has been composed by Kaala Bhairava, while it is produced under Arka Mediaworks by S.S. Karthikeya, along with Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. With its unusual premise and lively tone, the film appears to be aiming for a fun theatrical experience rather than a conventional fantasy story.

The movie is set to release in theatres on October 2, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Meanwhile, Rajamouli himself continues to remain busy with his much-awaited project Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film features Mahesh Babu in a dual role and follows the adventures of his character Rudhra as the city of Varanasi faces the impending arrival of an asteroid. Spanning multiple timelines, Varanasi is expected to be another large-scale cinematic venture from the filmmaker.

For now, Rajamouli is throwing his weight behind Don’t Trouble The Trouble and inviting audiences to experience its unique combination of magic, comedy and heart on the big screen. With Fahadh Faasil leading a story involving a fake magician and a girl with genuine supernatural powers, the film certainly has an unusual hook.
